Spent most of of the day dealing  with people who do not have a single clue how to do their own job yet are happy to explain to me how to do mine

I thought i saw you in the office today. We must work with some of the same people.

It does sound like it.

DR Ron I enjoyed reading about your senior lunch event.  Were you one, or the, youngest senior there?

Our pastor and his wife were the youngest seniors.  They are both in their early 50s.  I was next, at age 69.

Are they really seniors if they are under 55 years ;)

AARP targets 50-year-olds as seniors.

I forgot I joined AARP before my 50th birthday 😁

Sandra got an "Important Tax Document" in the mail today. Uh, she mailed her taxes in already. Kinda late for that, isn't it?

We got one about a month ago. Why is it taking so long?

I think there should be a time deadline that these important documents must be mailed out by, at least, the 1st of April.

There is. I think it's the end of February. In my experience tax documents are often late. I am surprised when I have all of mine by April 1.

February   :o

Just finished watching the real Secret in their Eyes - it's fantastic and the US version basically just makes hash out of what is a complex and wonderful film, filled with characters who actually behave like humans.  While a few of the scenes are pretty much identical, it's the changing of characters and the loss of any and all subtlety, as well as just cheapening the entire thing that does it in.

Two more Amazon reviews came in - check 'em out, including a lovely one from dear reader FJL's ever-lovin' Skip and one from thirteen-year-old Hadley Miller (written on her dad's account but she wrote every word of the review) - it's fun to have some young readers' opinions there, because it definitely is a story that can be enjoyed by pretty much any age over nine or ten.

But we all receive invitations from AARP when we're in our thirties.

I certainly did!

Well, I just watched tonight's episode of Antiques Roadshow, the second Portland, Oregon episode.  I was NOWHERE in the background of this episode, so I'm 0 for 2.  Darn.

HOPEFULLY, I'll be seen in the background in next week's episode.

I had a bit of Taco Bell for lunch, and just bought half a roast chicken from Ralph's and ate a quarter of it (barely any calories) and Grant's taking the other quarter, as he's working late on his book.

I ended up taking my Fitbit back.  I wore it for an entire week, and it still registered zero steps!
