The technicians all loved her. I gather she was her usual friendly and loving self. Everyone raved about her, and after I paid the bill and spoke to the dentist, the wonderful receptionist told me there would be a delay in bringing her out because all the technicians were saying goodbye to her.

That’s wonderful, but I never got to pick one up that soon. Sometimes they even kept them overnight.

I am surprised since overnights often depend on the procedure. If you want to pick up your pet earlier I suggest asking for an earlier time on the surgery rotation.

He did, however, disappear for a time while he got a new belt. He had to install it as his truck was on one side of the house and his riding mower was on the other.

Sigh. Will be glad when regular yardman (who is recuperating from a broken ankle) returns. Probably around May.

Pretty much the opposite of what they all thought (but didn't say out loud) about Joshie. He had quite a reputation at the vet.

Annabelle may be drugged out of her mind, but she's clearly paying us back for being unconscious most of the day. She's wired up, jumping all over the place, tossing things off shelves. I thought she'd be comatose until tomorrow.

Well, I must be off. I don't have rehearsal on Tuesdays, so tonight I'm ushering for the St. Martin's University production of Urinetown. I hope it's good. They did The Drowsy Chaperone a few hears ago and it wasn't bad.
