Saturday afternoon greetings! I had to be outta here at 8:30 this morning to meet 5 of my DAR friends to carpool to Cincinnati. We attended the 125th anniversary of the Cincinnati DAR chapter at the very toney Cincinnati Woman’s Club. The program included performance of several 1890s dances by the Forget-Me-Not Dance Company and lunch was prepared according to 1893 dining standards.

On the upside Fred, this new date offers a possibility of our getting there where your original date of June 22nd was the night before a Bar Mitzvah in Michigan.

Am I correct you do not plan to return at a later date, maybe for the last performances?

I think today I saw my first bit of sibling rivalry. Annabelle was sleeping in her new favorite place, my computer chair, when Thatch climbed onto my bed where I was napping, lay down on my chest, and fell asleep. As soon as he was comfortable, Annabelle climbed on the bed, walked all over him until he retreated to the cat tree, then curled up on my lap and stayed there for the next hour.
