Alexa, why are you so sassy?

(Less polite version: Alexa, why are you such a bitch?)

And they can be alternate response to the same thing.

Like if you like a catalog show (like Singin' in the Rain or Jersey Boys) call it a "catalog musical'

if you dislike it, call it a "jukebox musical"

if you like something that's the same-old same-old, it's reliable

If you don't like it, it's predictable

Well it turns out my disdain was misplaced.....the DIRECTOR made the changes - not the choreographer.

I had sent her my new ending for the song and asked that she let me know that it worked for her or what changes she wanted.  She wrote back - it's YOUR song....I liked the original ending....do whatever you want!

DR Ginny, our friend Jim sends his regards.  He just left.  We had a nice lunch and a very lovely visit.  I think all is well.

Just got the raw tracks for an upcoming soundtrack release - this has only taken six months - but boy do they sound great and when the mastering guy adds his bit of magic (there won't be much on this) they will sound absolutely breathtaking.  There was a CD release of this, an import from Spain, many years ago, but compared to this it sounds like a third-generation tape was used.  So, this is a major step up.

Today at work is our spring All Staff Training Day (or whatever they call it).  This morning, we had a presentation by the local fire chief and another fire fighter person, then we got to put out a (controlled) fire with fire extinguishers.  Lunch was provided!  I had the Caesar salad with some kind of brownie (or blondie...I can't tell :-\ ), but it wasn't bad.  This afternoon, we have several different options, the most recommended is a session on how to use the Outlook calendar when we just want to notate that we're out of the building.  And the ubiquitous time to clean our cubicles.

DR George returned awhile ago, we just didn't have TNT anymore.  We watched it on Amazon last night.  Keith got a free trial subscription to the YouTube station looks great on his computer but for some strange reason not on our tv.

Ahh...I'll have to see if it's available through On Demand.

A better-sounding phrase. Catelog musical sounds like a singing LL Bean.

Off the rehearsal.  I shall forego THE MOUSETRAP this evening to keep an eye on what's happening at the Warbucks mansion.

A friend of mine, Donna, who grew up down the street has seen her daughter Maria enter the hospital twice in recent weeks. The doctors can’t figure out what it is, though they think it’s her liver.

Some of those HHW vibes would be greatly appreciated.

In a way it is better the director made the changes since you would have expected better from the choreographer.

I would like to try using a fire extinguisher as practice, not because of a real fire.  I hope I never need one in this house since we don't have one.
