DR George our Costcos do not sell hamburgers. We have hotdogs, pizzas, salads, chicken fingers and I think sometimes they add a thing or two that is different.  I love that the hotdogs come with drinks. That is the best part. And the price!

That's mostly the same here, except that I've never seen chicken fingers.  The hamburger is new, and will probably only be available for a short time.  They used to have chili, but I was told that it's gone for the summer but they'll bring it back in the fall.

Does anyone here have Movie Pass?

Not I.  I've heard about it, though.

Then had to run to the mail place - one important envelope out of two.  I had to do a little e-mail about the second.  Then to the bank, then had a patty melt and side Caesar salad.

Keith's past was undercooked and not very good.  I had too much spinach spaghetti in a creamy sauce so he shared mine.

My past and present feel really undercooked.

I saw my error just before reading this and fixed my post ;D

Thursday afternoon greetings!  After breakfast we went for a walk along the riverfront to see the Ohio/Tennessee confluence, then for a visit to the National Quilt Museum.  Lunch at Kirchhoff’s Deli and we brought home enough to have for dinner later.  Back in our room, escaping the humidity and watching a storm roll in over the river.

You are good about eating leftovers when you travel.  I did not bring mine back from dinner tonight.

While eating our mediocre salad last night I told Keith that you know where the best Case at salad is in L.A.  Am I correct?

We walked around the old section of Newport.  The California Seals were fun to watch and we enjoyed the shops.  I saw A Made in Oregon store and went in hoping they would have the Huckleberry licorice I like and they did.  I purchased a bag plus a bag of Huckleberry jelly beans.

We ate at the Clearwater restaurant overlooking the sealions, fishing boats, and the bridge.  It was lovely.

Our appetizer was avocado fries.  Slices of avacado with a light quinoa crust, fried and served with chipolte sauce.

It was a real treat.

Watching an episode of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents."  I think it's better than most of what's on these days.

Yes. It certainly is.
