Jane, if you find any Seattle hotel deals, could you PM me?

I will mention it to Keith in case he does the booking.  I was thinking Redmond near the theater.  I will have to look more closely at our location options.

Maybe all the high prices around the theater in Redmond are due to people flying in to see the show.  :)

I hope so.

DR TCB, I didn't notice you  had typed July instead of June until you mentioned it was a joke ;D

I didn't notice either.  I read it late last night.  I've been missing things lately, like the Impossible Burger, which was really important.

Unless I'm able to post from the hotel.

Well the Indianapolis theatre community is in an uproar today....yesterday morning it was announced that Phoenix Theatre founder and Artistic Director Bryan Fonseca was leaving his post....about three weeks after the move to the new space....

His replacement was announced....etc etc etc....

It seems the Executive Board without the knowledge of the Board of Directors decided to put Bryan out....after 33 years...

Bye!

Local actors and others are discussing it today on Facebook, except for actors associated with ONE particular professional house in town...who are ALL being very quiet....  Which means they have been TOLD not to comment on it....

This is the theatre that was run by the execrable Libby Appel some years ago.....

So there ya are.  Someone thinks because he owns a trucking company or a string of car washes, that he can also run a theatre....

Saturday morning greetings!  We are having a slow morning here in Owensboro.  We didn’t even have to go downstairs for breakfast because we had half a quiche left over from yesterday’s breakfast at a catering cafe in Paducah.  They packed it for our cooler and we stopped at a grocery last night for some cut-up fruit.  Warmed the quiche in our microwave, made coffee and tea, and had a lovely breakfast in our room overlooking the Ohio River.

I am guessing your opinion of him is better than your opinion of Abby ;)

You're right DR JANE.

The latest BS... the two guys BS news... the two guys on the right are the greedy corporate bastards on the Executive Board who did the deed....the article is very clear:  Corporate Money rules the world and the theatre now....artistic vision and personal integrity can go to hell.... You take our money - you do what we say.

Back from the power equipment store where I bought the first thing I went for and completely forgot the second, which, considering the two are closely related, makes no earthly sense at all. Next chance to get there is Monday, and it's no big deal, it can wait, but ... stupid stupid stupid.

Back from a light breakfast, where I did a few more script corrections and fixed a couple of song set-ups and moved a few lines around - all small but important stuff.

Now I have two hours until rehearsal, although she of the Evil Eye hasn't finished yet so I can't set up the chairs or shave or anything until she's gone.

It usually takes me more time to anything than it takes me to shave....

I am back from City Center.  I had a great time working with Joshie, and I will hear the chart on Monday night at the Irish Rep Gala.

It is actually a lovely day in Tacoma.  Blue skies and a high today in the mid-seventies.
