Today is the final performance of, then strike for, Olympia Family Theater's production of Cinder Edna! It's been a lot of fun!

Before today's performance, however, I'm going to the combined "Long Hundred" Birthday party for my friends Rick and Scott! They are both turning 60 within a few weeks of each other (this adds up to 120, or the aforementioned "Long Hundred") and they've been together for about half of their lives (and legally married almost five years)! Their party starts at noon, so I can go for the first 45 minutes or so, then head out to Cinder Edna.

After the show will be the strike, which shouldn't be too difficult. I think the set is being left up for their summer theater camp, so us actors will just have to deal with costumes and props.

Closing day vibes for DR GEORGE.

We are having our Season Kick Off Open House during which some songs from ANNIE will be performed....but not in costume the director says....so we will be standing around in our T-shirts singing....

But first a program committee wherein we will choose a season that makes sense....then we will go to a board meeting where everyone else will say they don't like our shows....and then someone will say: "We did 'Beans for Breakfast' in the 3rd grade and everyone loved it." And then everyone will say "Oh I love 'Beans for Breakfast' let's do that!" And we will end up with 'Beans for Breakfast' on the schedule three times.....

I just cancelled our morning newspaper.

I'm fed up with having:

1. No papers
2. Late papers
3. Papers left at the bottom of our steep driveway.
4. Incomplete papers.
5. Having to call the circulation department 1-2 per week to complain.

I've had a morning paper delivered to my house my entire life. Let's see how long I can survive without one.

Thanks DR TCB. The diagram on the website doesn't show the risers but I did see empty spots on the first row. If you request wheelchair or handicap seating I gather they would automatically give that to you.
