Here's a picture of my dad's enchiladas, but you can see the little dish of beans that we got with our chips:

When I lived in Puyallup, I used to go to Puerta Vallarta quite often.

It was just down the street from the Welfare office where I worked.

I'd never heard of it before.

They never had a lunch buffet when I went there.

I only ate one of my two enchiladas and a little bit of my rice and beans and brought the rest home.  My mom only had about a third of her burrito, and let me take that, too!

Hmmm, I don’t find any mention of a buffet at the Puyallup restaurant.

Maybe you can come to Lacey sometime and we can meet for lunch there.  It's the same I-5 exit as the Hawk's Prairie Restaurant.

I'm listening to French music this night.  Right now just hearing a Milhaud symphony - marvelous, unique music.  Then I'm moving on to Jean-Michel Damase.

That's insane.

As far as I know (which probably isn't very far), I have autocorrect turned off wherever it exists. I do see red underlining showing words it thinks are misspelled, but it doesn't actually change anything.

Lots of variables, though. It could be the browser, operating system, software, etc. Hard to know what's doing it. But really, I can't imagine dealing with these "corrections" so many of you are fighting all the time.

Agreed!  I also have auto-correct turned off on every device I own.  I don't mind spellcheck because I can ignore the red underlines (or appreciate the correct spellings for words I don't know), but having a computer automatically change unique words that I deliberately spell the way I want to spell is just too much of an inconvenience. :P

At least, there is the option to "Add to dictionary."

Russell Nype has died at age 98.

Wow...98 years old!  It's funny.  Every time I see his name written somewhere, I think of Nipsey Russell.

It seems none of the directions to turn off autocorrect on the Samsung tablets work for my tab A

Interesting.  I have a Samsung Tab S and was able to turn off auto-correct.  Of course, my tablet doesn't have spellcheck, so either they're linked or I missed something.
