Well, you've read the notes, the notes were thirty-minute notes, and now it is time for you to post until the thirty-minute cows come home.

The Manhattan Transfer's CD are generally around the 45-minute length.  A couple of the members have had solo recordings in the 30-minute length and as much as I would just love them all to be longer, they really are complete albums and are always very good. :)

If I remember correctly, a couple of recent (within the last 10 years or so) Bette Midler solo CDs were about a half hour, also.

ASK BK

Can you choose your favorite vocal CD you've produced over the years and explain your choices for the sequencing of the songs?

I'm hoping that the lunch I canceled with Rob Berman is on for today.  Otherwise I will be working here at home on How To Succeed . . .

My lunch date is canceled, but I know that Rob is finishing up a workshop of The Secret Garden this week so he's really busy.  I hope it's going well.  Then he leaves for the Arena Stage production of Dave, based on the Kevin Kline film.

I like my Honeywell air purifiers so I purchased a Honeywell humidifier.  It will arrive on Friday.

I obtained a huge number of grapefruit the other day.

I am making grapefruit cupcakes.

And I still can't find my swirl tip.

Another front page placement in a local mailbox filler for ANNIE.

AND we added a Tuesday performance....and sold 50 tickets in two hours.....so things are moving along as usual.

Last night's family night rehearsal was fine....knock wood....it seemed to be a success....and there were even some tears at the end of the show.

My new sister n law and her daughters had NEVER been to a stage show and they were fascinated, involved, and loved it....and it's ANNIE!  HA!

So tonight, dress rehearsal, additional production photos....and then Thursday - we open in Venice....

Can he get all the Tony voters in to see it before the Friday June 8 voting deadline?  If not, oh well.

:)

I think "Boys in the Band" didn't meet the deadline either.  So that's good company.

I have a kindle not a kindle fire. To me a kindle fire is a tablet and not an e-reader. Although you can read kindle books. It's just not the same on your eyes as you are reading on a tablet.

Have you ever tried reading e-books on an e-reader?  I am always amazed when avid readers say that they prefer real books. To me the kindle is the greatest invention. It is so convenient and so much easier than reading an actual physical book. You can adjust the type size. It is so much lighter. You can carry it around everywhere. You can get books immediately. I never thought that I would love e-books. But honestly I would be fine never reading a physical book again.
