Oh, my goodness! Josh and Sara started doing this sung comedy bit about writing a musical about the Tony Awards, but about a minute into the song, the station interrupted the show with three, count 'em, THREE comnercials, and then it came back to the show as their song ended!

You want to hear what a great arrangement/orchestration is - listen to this. Claus Ogerman (and if you don't have the CD we issued, well...) did the chart, Arthur Prysock is the vocalist - the song is called Maman, from the flop musical Mata Hari that David Merrick closed out of town - music by Edward Thomas, lyrics by Martin Charnin. Prysock is a GREAT singer/interpreter, but it's the chart here that turns this song into a work of art. I discovered it way back when it came out in 1969 and played this track to death. Quincy Jones did some good work at Mercury.....has anyone else ever noticed how much Michael Jackson's voice sounds like Lesley Gore's voice.....especially on her song "Maybe I Know".....maybe it's a coincidence....

We only have 60 tickets left for our added Tuesday performance...which means we sold 130 in four hours over two days....

I was up late with Annabelle's breathing issues, then I slept poorly. I fed the cats this morning - although Annabelle is not eating since she cannot smell her food - and wet back to bed until 10:00. Now that I am dressed, I need to deal with her health.
