Is THE STAIRCASE about that writer in the Carolinas who found his wife dead at the bottom of the stairs?  I have a connection to that case.....

ANNIE went well last night....Vixen the new Sandy was great....although Lulu heard her music and thought she was supposed to be onstage....

The curtain speech was endured rather than received, so we are tweaking it for tonight....

I picked out my seats for the flights to Maui. One is an aisle seat. The other had only three seats available: two on the window and one in the middle. I took a window seat.

Housework is finished.  The floors and litter are clean, the humidifier and purifiers are chugging up a storm, the apartment halls patrolled, Annabelle has declared the purifier carton her new home, the babies had their deli turkey noon treat, and I'm ready for a lie-down.

DR TCB yes it seems that Lulu's star has dimmed, and she is unaware that it even happened.  Her glory days are behind her - she will enter being lead away by the dogcatcher.....an irony that will escape her, I am sure....

I have printed out the two PHOTO DISKS that were ordered last night....since most folks have camera phones, etc....they use their own photos instead of the production photos we take....although the disk with over 600 photos, the program in PDF Form, rehearsal photos, slide show and trailer for $6 is quite a bargain...we have sold a total of 4 so far.

Saturday afternoon greetings!  I've been to the annual Flag Day luncheon, hosted by the Monroe DAR chapter for all the groups here in SW Ohio.  Since I'm home in time and still all dressed up, I'm going with Fr. Richard for the 5pm service that he's doing at Christ Our Hope in Dayton.  That way I don't have to go with him tomorrow morning.

The Class of 1968 presented a 50th anniversary gift of almost 6 million dollars to Miami University at last night's dinner.

Last night I finished reading the wonderful "Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine" by Gail Honeyman.  I found Eleanor to be delightfully quirky.  Just say her name quickly, an example of the humor in this novel.
