It's a big day at West 82nd Street:  Annabelle's first hairball.  Yuck!

It was bound to happen.  Just wait until it is on top of you in the middle of the night.

What are you brushing them with?  Sometimes the brush helps reduce the the hairballs.

We only managed a short walk before the wind and rain.  We decided to return home since we were passing it anyway and go back out after the storm passes.

[Jane]

It was fairly nice out when we began our walk but we could see the storm off in the distance, directly in the usual path of the planes taking off from PDX.  It was interesting watching the unusual sight of the planes banking to the left or right to avoid the storm.

Right now, the rains have passed and it's quite sunny in Tumwater.

And my cat just threw up.

Well, I must be off.  We're going back to my parents' again today.

The sky got very dark here.  It even looked like it was ready to form a tornado.  Then it changed its mind and moved to Seattle.

Right now, the rains have passed and it's quite sunny in Tumwater.

The sun came out and the planes are back to their usual flight pattern after taking off.

Hey, George, did you know that the Red Wind now sells gift cards?  I don't know if they can be used for gambling, but I would assume so.  The only real difference is that a gift card would not expire after 30 days.

We don't have any blue sky, but it sure is not as dark as it was earlier.
