I have to fill a humidifier and clean a litter box.

What was this from:  (maybe "Last of the Red Hot Lovers,' but I don't see it on google)

"Have you tried sleeping with a humidifier?"

[promiscuous person answers:]  "Don't worry, I'll get around to everybody.

DR JOHN G...probably Best Featured Actor in a Musical....but of course, I would accept ANY of them....

Considering that this is your return to the theater, I would think Best Revival!

I'm writing in Best Set on my unofficial ballot (I hear the Cabinet is imaginative and non-traditional, very "in" these days)

Maybe that photo will spark a revival of "Merrily We Roll Along" - if the guy playing Harold Ickes can be counted on to know his cue to push.

Do you cover the kids' ears during:

The snowflakes are frightened of falling ...

And all through the land folks are bawling?

I saw ANNIE two days after I LOVE MY WIFE when I was a wee 16 year old, and heard that line the wrong way.

Tidying up is accomplished and Annabelle and I have made our patrol. I may do a few 2nd edits on How To Succeed . . . before the kitties and I settle in for the Tonys.

They are presenting a special performance from last year's winner, DEAR EVAN HANSEN.  Do they always do that?

Sunday morning greetings!  After 2 days of up-and-outta-here mornings, I've enjoyed a slow start today.  I plan to putter all day and then join in the Tony festivities.

Had fresh mangosteen for breakfast. I found them in a Houston market yesterday. Never had them fresh before. Wonderful stuff.

The party last night was wonderful. Jan, Jim and mostly family there to celebrate their 55th anniversary, Jim’s 80th birthday and Jan’s 76th. Lots of speeches, some dancing and a great time.

LOL DR FJL.....they ARE funny.

I suspect DR ELMORE is correct about the DEH performance....but I guess I would just as soon see that as more than one number from SPONGE BOB or MEAN GIRLS.....

I would really rather see a number from The Great Comet - I liked the one they presented last year....

But then again, after tonight, I may have some new CD's to buy.

I suspect the producers are paying for it to push the tour going out.

They're updating for the tour, afraid that tour crowds won't like the challenging aspects of the story:

Evan will suffer from very high self-esteem rather than very low self-esteem; he'll have parents who drive him to get caught in a lie by being there too much (the mother's great show-stopping number doesn't even need to be rewritten that much, just a new costume); and instead of consoling Connor's family for Connor's suicide, Connor will have just left to join a production of GYPSY as Tulsa.  The new title will, of course, be DEAR EVAN HANDSOME.

It'll kill in Vegas, for sure.  Will likely sit down there for years.
