DR George I do hope you walked again.

I will, but not today.  I have to leave work early and go downtown, so I don't want to leave even earlier to go home to get my car.

All I have wanted to do today is lie in the A/C and do little as possible.  I need to get over that and accomplish something.

Of course, I could've walked home at lunch, but I didn't think of that (now that I'm at work). ::)

I hate to say this, but I really would rather not go to this Academy thing tonight.  I am going because the Shermans really want me there, but I have had such bad experiences at the Academy with their stupid security and not being on VIP lists when I should be and all that rigamarole but hopefully tonight will go smoothly and if there's any problem I at least know who to ask for.

Carol found out yesterday that the malady she was suffering from in Hawaii was pneumonia.

Not fun.  I hope meds her speeding up her recovery.

~~~Ditto!!~~~
Wednesday afternoon greetings...
Richard and I are home from Germantown, OH, where we attended the sweet funeral for our friend Loyce.
I want to hear all about it.
I'll call you later...
Rehearsal moves on apace.
There is one girl who of course knows EVERYTHING there is to know about being onstage and acting and directing - and as far as I know lighting and set decorating, she hasn't commented on those things yet.
I haven't liked her since I met her at auditions....so I don't talk to her or comment on her suggestions....I have never seen her onstage, if she has ever been onstage.....last night she brought some impossible shoes - they are her modeling class shoes from her John Casablanca classes. The director commented on her "stiletto" heels - and she corrected him and told him they were "pumps" - they look like stripper shoes to me.  She volunteered to demonstrate the runway walk she has been working on, but the director declined saying he knows where to find her IF he wants to see it.
I am tempted to tell her that it is a scam and they are just taking her money - my sister got mixed up with them for awhile about twenty years ago....but I shall let her have her dreams.
As for the shoes, just tell her that her "F*ck Me" pumps aren't period. ;)
I would guess somewhere in her mid twenties....she is divorced with a small son.
Information I found out by hearing her talk to others.....
DR GEORGE I hope that is not a career path she is choosing....but one never knows.
It's all show business....only this is at night and it pays better....
Picked up two packages, and just didn't feel like eating anything.  So a little while ago I had a few potato chips just to have something.
Shortly I'll shower and get ready for the event tonight and hopefully Sami will arrive on time - hoping the traffic isn't too crazy going over the hill.
Thank you DR George.  I don't think Yogi will ever get well but he is better right now, better in that he can control his bodily functions and is eating.  When Craig called to tell us he won't be joining us they were out walking, another improvement.
