TOD - Desk Set, of course.  But I thought it was about librarians...

Ha! I thought it was about Katharine Hepburn singing Night and Day.

TOD:  In addition to those mentioned, I recall liking "Electric Dreams" way back when.

Since she was gay, don't you think he was merely a beard?

From an online article I saw yesterday entitled "Kathy Garver Discusses FAMILY AFFAIR Curse," which would seem to imply that the cast was immortal.

"Over five centuries have passed since the show ended, and since then three of the leading actors have died, leaving only Garver and Whitaker as surviving cast members."

LOL!  I had no idea they had TV back then.

I'm up, I'm up - was up at ten-thirty after seven hours of sleep, then answering e-mails and printing out some things, now must run to Staples to Xerox and by the way I should not be doing any of this stuff - and yet here I am doing it.

Yes as DR TCB noted last night - this is my opening night for THE MOUSETRAP.

Last night during rehearsal, Miss Knows Everything informed me that Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Bacon, and a few others were NOT SAG members, that they were all in a NEW union because of the kind of movies they made.

I told her I had never heard of such a thing, what was this union called, but she couldn't remember it....

I didn't bother to remind her that I think The Rock hosted the SAG awards a couple of years ago....

Glad to hear that MR BK avoided DRAMA - continued NO DRAMA VIBES for MR BK & Co.

Is anybody singing "Two Roads"?  That's a pretty fabulous song.

BK and Richard Sherman should sing it themselves! :D

The latest Mego update.  I am so in love with this kitty!
Another day of good news! Mego is increasingly active and hungry. Getting more demanding, too, especially when it comes to receiving the attention he feels he deserves.  The only remaining area of concern is his red blood cell count, which is still low. But his paw pads and nose are nice and pink, so it could just be a matter of giving his body a bit more time to recover from this terrible ordeal.

He is doing so well that for the first time the vet mentioned the word "discharge." He probably is not leaving tomorrow, though, because after all he has been through Dr. DiFazio at VERG Brooklyn wants to make sure he is 100% stable. We already know that he will be going home with a temporary feeding tube in his neck and that he will require careful nursing for the next month or so of recovery. The nurses and veterinarians who read his post will understand when we say that it takes time to recover completely from sepsis.

Almost all the catheters are gone now. The bandage around one leg is to keep the "sampling" catheter clean and of course he has a bandage "collar" around his neck to hold the feeding tube in place. But doesn't our Peter of the Clouds look a whole lot brighter?

That name they've given him is because Mego means "the Clouds," and he was initially registered at the vet as Peter Mego.
