You know everyone hates you.

Even my dead aunt hates you.  And she's dead.

(flogging a dead horse, of course.  But it sounds like a Lina Lamont line.)

That guy on Facebook posted again and said my original post was very snarky or something along those lines.  I told him snark was in the eye and ear of the beholder behearer.  He then did the typical victim thing and said for the record he thinks I'm genius and brilliant at what I do.  He didn't actually narrow that down to producing CDs, but that's exactly what he meant since that's all he talked about in that regard - he would have no idea if I was a brilliant or competent director because he's never gotten off his butt-cheeks to see any shows I've done, which is sadly typical of these people.  I told him I did not think I was a genius - just a hard-working sort who enjoys what he does and hopes people come along for the ride.  I should think another response from him would not be a good idea :)

She of the Evil Eye has arrived and I'll be on my way to a light breakfast, after which I'll do a few things that need doing.

Yesterday like Elmoore I also came on and Thursday thread was still up and did not have the time to post my film choice.

So with all the other excellent choices, my fav is:

Colossus: The Forbin Project (1969)

This is the first time Eric Braeden used this name as his stage name.
Paul Frees was the voice of Colossus

I fell asleep before posting Colossus and am glad you mentioned it.  Thanks for the additional trivia.

TCB,
On the bright side, if there is one, you must have made BK happy by telling it in so many posts!

It isn't often I see people paying with a check anymore but it still happens and someone working behind a cash resister should have seen check books.  Possibly he didn't make the connection without a check ;)

Happy Bastille Day!

Are you allowed to say "Bastille" on a family site?

Ever notice how back when their site was popular, that chat site would take down the weirdest things - to me, the strangest was a link to a site put up by Dorothy Collins' family to honor her, apparently because there was video of Ms. Collins that concerned one of the site owners, but clearly didn't concern Dorothy Collins' family.

But now, it seems people talk about anything at all there.

(just having an Andy Rooney "ever notice?"moment)

Topic of the Day:  I don't know many Peggy Lee songs, but I like Is That All There Is? and Fever.

:)

I am listening to "Is That All There Is?" and don't remember this one.  Thanks for it.

101 sounds great, if her health had been OK.

The HHW Peggy Lee song:

Is That All There Is?
Is That All There Is?
If that's all there is, DRs, then let's keep posting
Let's make it the most high-posting day

Our next door neighbor moved out and left a set of "The Kings of Swing" CDs.  Her intention had been to give them to the movers and she forgot.  I am listening to them before asking if the clubhouse would like them.

I got new hearing aids with a music setting that works fairly well.  Music off of the computer is still unpleasant but these CD's sound rather nice, especially after I gave them a "Bass boost" which is part of the hearing aid app.

I will gladly take some good vibes that we like our new next door neighbor/s.  I have no idea who purchased it.  Plus fingers crossed if they do any remodeling it won't last any length of time.  There are horror stories of year long remodels.  While there are time restrictions to when the loud work can be done it is still unpleasant to hear it during the day.

I don't know how to do those fancy moving vibes, but certainly vibes that works out. Change if neighbors can be a little scary, if the ones leaving are good neighbors.

She was nice and she was hardly here which made her an easy neighbor.

Since my motion sickness issues aren't keen on those fancy moving vibes I appreciate your simple ones.  Thank you.
