When I got past that, we did our noon rehearsal, which went very well, and then I did the lighting script, which also has all the mic needs and where things happen in it.  So, that's all the major grunt work out of the way, I think.

The entire morning was spent dealing with our problem person, who simply does not know how to play well with others.  He was e-mailing the theater privately - they, of course, know the deal and added me to the string saying Bruce must be included in all e-mails as all final decisions are his.  I then responded with a simple, yes, the stage manager and I copied on any e-mail sent and that I was not giving up one more INCH of playing space - he of course said basically it is what it is.  I told him that it, in fact, that it will be what works for ALL of us and that I'd already given up five FEET of playing space, which is going to make things very tight for us, and that I was through with my comprising and bending.  And that there would be no need for any further e-mails.  Then he e-mails the sound people on his own - that was it for our producer who wrote the City folks - I, too, responded to THAT in my customary fashion.  Our tech guy at the theater came up with two different ways to slightly reconfigure the space and those are the two options on the table.  I said I was fine with option two but whichever worked was fine by me.  I then reiterated that no e-mails are to go to the tech people without coming to me and my stage manager first, because he just endlessly confuses everyone with his e-mails. His litany of "this is how it's done" is boring and it's not his show - he is sixteen minutes of a two-hour show.

Yikes!! :o What is wrong with some people??

Am I the only one who knew it would be Vixmom's problem?

I suspected it would be.  I thought maybe she was referring to her attitude vs reality.

Today I have to go to the periodontist to have them take a look at the gum graft I had done over a year ago. My dentist says they did a nice job. I hope I don't have to pay anything and that it is covered by my surgery fee.

Vibes this doesn't cost you anymore and that the periodontist agrees with your dentist.

DR Ginny enjoy your new bed tonight.

Richard is lying down right now, reading a book.  I just ordered new bedside tables to replace the ones we've been using for as long as I can remember.  My parents bought them in 1959, so I think we've gotten their money's worth...

You can sell them as vintage furniture.

Oh, they're vintage, all right.  One of them has a cigarette burn from when my Dad used to smoke in the middle of the night.

I ordered some streamer sticks for our finale - they arrived in one day, yesterday.  I didn't open the box - today I got a call from the company saying they sent the wrong thing.  So, I called and they'll make sure the right thing is here by Friday at the latest.  Thank goodness they called because I was not intending to open the box until at the theater.

Thank goodness is right.

BK, is that show on Friday or Saturday?  Your opening paragraph says Friday, but later on you say Saturday, which is what I thought it was.

DR TCB American gelato,  IMHO, ranges from ok to rather bad.  I don't recall ever having good store bought gelato.

I've found a gelato where they throw extra stuff like chocolate chips in them tend to taste as good as ice creams like Breyer's, and at times have fewer calories.  But then I seem to make up for the saved calories with cookies since gelato doesn't satisfy like ice cream.

I am not a fan of Breyer's ice cream so that isn't saying much, IMHO-lol.

It was Breyer's Gelato.

Well, I must be going.  I'm off to buy some pink fur.  Elle Woods (in Legally Blonde) is described as having a fuzzy pink pen and a pad of paper.  I have two fuzzy pink pens (choices), but I'm going to create a fuzzy pink pad of paper. ;D

I passed. I don't need to go in again unless I have some other problem, which I do not intend to have. And no charge.

I don't think that it really exists, so I'm going to JoAnn Fabric to see if they have any inexpensive pink fur.  I looked online and there's a sale of "UP TO 75% OFF" their "ENTIRE STOCK FABRIC"! :D

HOPEFULLY, they have some pink fur that I can just glue onto a normal pad of paper.  We'll see!  Be back later.
