You're quite welcome, DR Jrand67.

And now on to the closing performance of SHE LOVES ME, at which I finally thought to get a picture taken with my latest close personal friend. The woman on my left is the show's director.

Finally, these are for TCB who might enjoy the hugs and attention she seems to be lavishing on MR. MARACZEK.

I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep, but the alarm didn't go off.  Did not awake to a miracle, major or otherwise.  I was hoping for a favor that I'm told can't get done this week - big ol' problem.

Here's today's Mego report from Magnificat Cat Rescue:
Mego's feeding tube is out - finally! He is one very happy little cat, even if he does have a small hole in his neck from the tube. It should close on its own in a few days.

Peter Mego, to give him his full name, is bouncing around, so relieved to have that annoying collar and tube off. Kathleen and Mike
[His foster parents] call him Petey and delight in his antics. They are keeping careful watch over one paw, the one that became swollen in the ICU from the IV needle and the vasopressors. It doesn't seem to bother him in the slightest, but the skin on the bottom of the paw is sloughing off. Just the superficial skin and the flesh underneath is pink and healthy looking, so not too concerning.

Moving onto Page Two with dental visit vibes for DR GINNY.

Thank you, DR JRand!  No dental surprises for me, but the sad news that it was my last appointment with hygienist Sharon because she's retiring in December.

Yesterday George said he never heard these themes.

The Patty Duke Show (Cousins Identical Cousins)
Mr. Ed (Written by Oscar winners Jay Livingston and Ray Evans & sung by Livingston)
The Courtship Of Eddie's Father (Best Friends sung by Harry Nilsson)
Spiderman (animated)

And here they are

Thanks for the links, Michael!  Actually, I had forgotten that the Patty Duke Show theme was the "Identical Cousins" song.  I have heard that. :)

Some photographic evidence is past due, so here's a little ketchup.

First, lest we ever stop talking about ANNIE (heaven forfend), here is the rather rustic outdoor venue. I think you can see how Monsoon Season can put a damper on the proceedings.

Nice pictures, ChasSmith!  All of them!

Topic of the Day (in no particular order):

Country fried steak
Country fried chicken
Grilled (okay, it's called "grilled" but it really is fried in a pan) cheese sandwiches
Mozzarella sticks
French/curly/steak fries (NOT sweet potato fries, though...not a fan of those)
Hash browns
Chicken and peppers and onions in fajitas
Burgers
French toast

Well, I didn’t like fried cheesecake, but then again I don’t like cheesecake under any circumstances.

Otherwise, it’s all of the above.

I’ve loved fried butter, fried Oreos, fried Twinkies, fried ice cream, fried chicken, fried lobster, fried clams, fried shrimp, fried scallops and fried squash blossoms. If you can fry it, I’ll try it.

Didn’t he also work on the orchestrations for Turandot?

Continued vacation vibes for Jane and Keith.

Thank you.  We had a lovely day in spite of rain the first half and Keith not having slept the night before, making it 2.5 days since he had slept.

We have a nice view of the center of town from our room.  We were told people leaves the bars and party outside.  If Keith hears them tonight after 1:00 he should call the front desk to tell the party goers they past the sound curfew.

AARRGGHH!!  This week at work, I am having to have more meetings than ever!  I had to schedule one today with my staff (just got out of it...it was otherwise relatively painless), then I have one more today at 4:00 with my supervisor, then another with my staff tomorrow at 12:30, then another with our whole department tomorrow at 3:00, then another with my supervisor and a couple of other people on Thursday at 3:00.

We have to do a little Indiegogo thing for A Carol Christmas - basically to pay for the musical director and all the tracks he's created, and the rest for a sound package, always the most expensive thing.  I have a sound designer coming to check things out on Thursday.
