What's your favorite Ken Russell movie?

Watching the Ken Russell autobiopic. Interesting. He pictures himself as a child. And a lot of it is rather odd, which is fitting.

The last extra I'm watching is a short Alan Bates made of a Lawrence short story called Second Best.

I need a break from depressing things. The book I'm reading, The Custom of the Country, has as its central character the selfish Undine Spragg, and she's loathsome. Edith Wharton is always good, but this one I have to take in small doses.

This is fun:

A mother and her son are standing on a grocery store checkout line. The boy had opened his box of Animal Crackers and was carefully examining each one:

Mother: What are you doing honey?
Little Boy: I’m looking for the seal.
Mother: Why are you doing that?
Little Boy: You told me never to eat them if the seal    was broken.

Listening to music but may watch something.  I've written up about ten perks so far and have to figure out the rest.

Extra disc on the Criterion Collection release of Women in Love. It's less than an hour, but wonderfully worth it.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, you see more of the Alan Bates thing than any thing.

The show tonight was fine....it was a great audience.....we had some rain.....and rain is expected for the next three days....

The show has gotten a few minutes longer though and some performers stretch out their bits so to speak.....

Time to head to the theater.  I need to go to the silver store first to get a larger ring for the actor playing Emmett.  I'm sure I can just exchange what I got yesterday and pay the difference.

Be back later.

Well, I was able to get another ring and it fits!  Whew!

Tonight, they were able to get four additional mics, so that's cool.  Other than the lighting overall being a little dark (to me), it's going well.
