Had some food - El Torito - and now back home and starting on the show order.  This day has, I must say, not been all that pleasant.

Well, I need to leave pretty soon.  It turns out that the frame with the picture of Paulette and Rufus in sailor outfits broke. :P Fortunately, it wasn't glass, just plastic.  I don't know what happened.  I got it at The Dollar Tree, so I can just get another that (hopefully) won't be as breakable.

And now, some quick shopping then to the theater!  Be back later!

I haven't been feeling great today and, sure enough, I have a slight fever.

But I've started watching the wonderful Leon Morin, Priest, and I want to just keep watching it.

Jean Paul Belmondo as a priest? Definitely casting against type.

The plot has a few broad similarities with Kristin Hannah's The Nightingale, though it's less about the Resistance and more about the French who hid Jewish children during WWII.

Now listening to music from the films of Akira Kurosawa - three box sets consisting of six or seven CDs each - a magnificent set with incredible music - now playing, Yojimbo.

I am so very sorry.  My condolences to Vixdad and the entire family.  At least the Vixter and  her fiance were able to visit her and create a cherished memory.

There is a festival of some sort which lasts all day and is blocking off the street to our hotel.

The car picking us up to take us to the airport cannot reach us.  We have 3 roll bags of various sizes that need to be dragged up a good sized hill to reach the car.
