Anyway, the authorities evacuated residents on the shore near the mine.

Then the Navy towed the mine out into the middle of the Sound.

There was no secondary explosion, which showed the mine was inert.

They found an old WWII-era mine floating in Puget Sound this afternoon.

Now they have to try and figure out where it came from.

Whew!  I was with my family all evening, so I didn't see any news.

I left, at the end of the afternoon, up by a couple of hundred dollars.

Congrats, Tom!  I've never won that much.

The air here is still rotten. And I think it'll stay that way until it rains, whenever that will be.
As a result, I have a headache.

Hope you feel better soon, John!

I need a break.

Here you go, John! ;)

Excellent. Thank you. Virtual chocolate is better for me.

John (and anyone else interested), have you ever tried or heard of these ChocZero Keto Bark, Milk Chocolate [with] Hazelnuts?  Only 3 net grams of carbs, and no actual sugar.  They're a little pricey, but I really like them!

Oh!  Add The Taming of the Shrew to my list, also!  That was the first Shakespeare play that I was ever in.

They also have them with almonds and coconut.

They may be, but they're actually pretty good.  Recommended by the likes of me.

Not completely healthy...just a little healthier than I used to be.

So, today my newly discovered uncle (my mom's half-brother) and his family who are visiting from Germany spent the day in Seattle.  They went to Pike Place Market and the Seattle Center.  They thought about going up to the observation level of the Space Needle, but it would've cost $140 for the four of them! :o
