I did great on the zodiac, with special care given to me getting on and off of it.  The views from the little town were beautiful.  We were taken on a little scenic ride on the return trip to the ship.  We went very close to a decent sized chunk of ice.

That is a very sweet photo of Redford and Fonda.

Wednesday morning afternoon greetings!  I've been updating and fiddling with the AAUW Middletown website and my morning is GONE!

On top of having to see an orthopedist and have surgery as quickly as possible, we will be dealing with another issue at home.

The neighbor above us caused severe water damage in our quest bedroom and bathroom.

Our bedding has been sent out to be dry cleaned.  The basboads have been removed.  The entire ceiling needs to be replaced   At the least, the carpet padding needs to be replaced.  Fans and humidifiers are running.

We have no idea the extent of the damage to our condo or if our personal items were damaged.   The neighbors are already supervising a crew to do the repairs.  Unfortunately the work will not be completed before we return.

I expect our nice clean home is now very dusty and I am worried I can't do laundry let alone clean.  Of course this is the least of our worries.

When we find out the full story of how this happened I suspect we will need to suggest they get that warning gadget DR elmore has.

Oh, no, DR Jane!  My sister and her husband are dealing with something similar brought about by a broken pipe in their master bathroom that they didn't discover right away.  But they weren't thousands of miles away and dealing with a health issue, too.

Just for comic relief...

Did I post that the Comcast/Xfinity tech who fixed our cabling a few weeks ago took a misstep in the attic and made an unexpected appearance in the small bedroom? (THANK GOD it wasn't the bedroom that had just been gutted and repaired!!!)

I just learned, in fact, that their insurance company has mailed the check for the repairs.

I did that myself several years ago. We were up there checking something out and I momentarily forgot I was standing next to a section of the flooring that didn't have plywood to walk on. I took a step and ... whoomp!... there I was, dangling and looking down into my bathroom.

ASK BK

The 10 CD perk.

Do you have to get them all at once or can you spread it out as new releases come out?

I thought I'd worded it very clearly, but if not, no - it's stuff we have IN STOCK NOW.  We can't go down that other rabbit hole again for quite awhile.

Last night's Act One run thru went well.....we did a few things twice and used all the props, etc.  So it was most entertaining.

The dud actor suddenly came alive, listened, did his part as I asked, and it was the difference between night and day.  I was sure to tell him in front of everyone that he did a GREAT job and keep going in that direction....then we did his part again so he could enjoy it....

Don't you love those kinds of breakthroughs? :D

I like the photo too, DR JOHN G.  I have liked them as a movie couple since BAREFOOT......  I had to look to see how many movies they have made together -3- not counting Tall Story in which Redford had an uncredited small part.... I haven't seen SOULS AT NIGHT, their latest one...maybe I should look it up.

I thoroughly enjoyed Souls at Night because of them. Couldn’t take my eyes off either one. It felt like being with old friends.
