Last night's opening went very well....the audience was very enthusiastic....and the cast met the challenge.

I am hoping for a similar event tonight.

And today....I noticed my second Monarch chrysalis was BLACK which means it's about to emerge.

I kept my eye on it....and then - A BUTTERFLY.  I took several photos and a couple of videos....

About an hour later, I gave him a dab of strawberry jam.  I named him Neil Simon. 

I checked on him a few minutes later and he was walking around.  Suddenly he took flight....came around landed on my face and then my ear to say thanks and goodbye and then headed north...

I've added two new perks - if you remember those signed theater programs I mentioned a few weeks ago - those are now up - one perk is the three signed Hello, Dolly programs - signed by Mary Martin, Betty Grable, and Channing, and every member of the cast and crew of their respective productions. 

The other perk has the signed I Do! I Do! program (signed by Mary Martin and Robert Preston), the Lincoln Center Carousel signed by John Raitt, Eileen Christy, Jerry Orbach, Susan Watson, and more, and Man of La Mancha, signed by Keith Andes and the company.

Occasionally it is good but not for too long.  I need to gain a couple of pounds.
