Time to turn the computer off and do some stretches before we watch a movie from Netflix.

Well, I must be leaving.  I'm going to the free preview for Olympia Little Theatre's production of Red.  The director of this was the director of The Trip to Bountiful, for which I ran sound last year.  I hope it's good.

Be back later.

Sounds like potential for an "Annie 3" exchange.

- Got my shots for pneumonia and hepatitis B today.
- OK, but why anyone would want pneumonia and hepatitis B, I'll never know.

Amen. And my arms are sore. Especially after a night of dancing.

Got my pneumonia and hepatitis B vaccines today. I’m all shot up with stuff.

I never do two vaccinations in one day.  I hope you used different arms.  If not, good luck you don't have a reaction.

Yes. One in each arm.

Back from the lighting designer meeting - she's joined our team and I think she'll do a fine job.

Then we went to Tony's Bella Vista where we hammered out a budget and I ate too much food.

Started watching Bite the Bullet, which I haven't seen in ages. Great cast, but it all feels a little too theatrical, too phony. Love the Alex North music.

Somebody on one of the book of face pages, I think it was Forgotten Musicals, was saying that Dance a Little Closer couldn't revived because of the dated book. Well, I'm listening to a collection of horror stories on planes called Flight or Fright, and one is by Joe Hill, Stephen King's son. It's nothing but Lerner's version of Idiot's Delight with us getting into nuclear war with North Korea, then Russia and China. Very topical and very scary.

I'm not saying Lerner's book writing was any good on it, but dated it ain't.

A truly fantastic tribute CD with great performances by Chick Corea, Michel Legrand, Benny Green, and a great many other artists.
