Well, you've read the notes, the notes were young, and now it is time for you to post until the young cows come home.

I'd also like an hour or so to finish up the last 30 pages of Zola's The Kill.

Exactly one year ago today, I made a trip to Best Friends Animal Society for their Adoptathan - zillions of cats and kittens for an adoption fee of $20 (usually it's $125-200 depending on the cat, breed, etc.).  They had no kittens; they had all been taken on Sept. 29, but there was another adoption event at Union Square beginning at noon.

Birdy Barnum and I are listening to Chet Baker.  It took him three songs to get into it....but now he is singing along with the trumpet.....

DR JEANNE....I dance and he watches askance.....

Matinee today at 1 p.m.  Don't know about the size of the audience - but theatre is NOT a daytime activity.

Closing day....I shall miss everyone and everything - except the daily drive to and from....

I got to Union Square around 11:30, killed time for 30 minutes by looking at dogs (few cats) at the ASPCA van, before I got to the K9 Kastle event and found a 10-month old kitten named Annabelle.  It was love a first sight, and two hours later, after my references cleared, I carried her home.

To celebrate our one year anniversary, she nearly gave me a stroke yesterday by vanishing most of the day, and this morning she pushed the jar of zinnias that Ella and Tim gave me yesterday off the table, broke the glass and left a nice puddle of water.

I thought the show played two weekends.

I miss the old days of Ebay.

I was able to finance several trips to LA by selling things on it.

I'll never forget I had a bidding war on the program from a touring production of Camelot with Richard Harris.

I interviewed Robert Cuccioli who was playing Lancelot for my radio show back then. He autographed it.

He then hit big with Jeykl & Hyde on Broadway and people wanted his signature. Two girls were trying to out bid one another. It ended up going for over $150. I was able to get a week's car rental out of it and then some.

It can never happen again. You can't even sell CDs or DVDs anymore there are just too many people selling things and people don't seem to like the bidding aspect of EBAY anymore. But now is the mantra.

DR Elmore, I’d suggest something other than flowers if either you or Annabelle were thinking of giving the other something for your anniversary,

It’s not really a HUGE difference, but at first glance it looks that way.
