I was at the church this morning, finishing the cleanup after an outside group meeting last night. In the garden, I found an empty box for exploding paint balls that was not there last night. Also I found two places with paint stains near the kitchen door. So obviously, we had trespassers during the night.

I remember years ago that there used to be a build-your-own-burger place around here.  I think it was some kind of a chain where you chose your bun (I assume...I never got to go), then your meat, then you put on all your own toppings, like a deli bar.  Sounds like it would be good.  I don't know why it didn't last.  Maybe it was too expensive, or loud.  I can imagine a place like that being VERY loud. :P

Fuddruckers?

I was in one only once, but I remember thinking it was good.

Fuddrucker’s started here in San Antonio by Phil Romano, who also started Romano’s Macaroni Grill and other chains.

That doesn't sound familiar, but since I never went, it might be. :-\

That would have been Flakey Jake's.  It was very good.

Another pretty day in the Northwest, but not as warm as yesterday.  Yesterday it got up to 80 degrees at the ocean beaches.  That rarely happens, even in the summer.

That's it!  They had one around here, but I don't remember ever going.

Had a Subway turkey sandwich, then Robert came and we ran the two-act version of the show.  Structure worked fine, but all his new patter was way too long, way too unfocused, so that's mostly what I dealt with and fixed that all up.  His pianist for this is not our usual Alby Potts, so that's been a trial, but I at least pointed out the musical things that needed to be addressed.  So, that's done and I'll now shower and then be on my way to the theater.  I let our latest replacement go because she'd have to miss Friday through next Wednesday and I wasn't feeling that good about it anyway.  So, we're on the lookout again and I've personally written the one person I think is perfect for it and we'll see if there's any way she can do it.

Am I the only person who thinks Subway smells nasty?  I can smell a Subway before I see it.

But once I’ve been in and out of the place, I usually end up enjoying the food just fine.
