The omens are lousy this morning. I missed the alarm and that put me 45 minutes behind this morning's schedule. I must be out of her for my schlep to East 22nd street by 8:45, The computer is behaving very badly this morning, I've had to reboot it twice, but it's currently behaving.

DR LAURA I usually start talking to Birdy Barnum - and turn on the light if the sun isn't up....then I take off the cage cover....continue talking....and then he has fresh water from the bottle and fresh food....he hops around a bit and within fifteen minutes, he has eaten a bit and had a drink and is talking and talking and singing.....

Then he gets in his attic looks out the window and enjoys the view...

The driver of the pickup in yesterday's accident was arrested and charged with three counts of felony manslaughter and a misdemeanor of ignoring a school bus stop sign. She is in jail.

I just saw that there are now High School editions of West Side Story and Chicago. The former I don't understand as high school have been doing it without a water downed version. As for Chicago "..a story about murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploration, adultery, and treachery. All the things we hold near and dear to our hearts" It is definitely an adult musical and making it for kids takes away what the story is all about,

What do you think about High School editions of musicals?

I was always glad my children didn't have to cross the street in order to enter or exit the bus.
