The replacement is already learning the role.

Oh, good! I was worried about that.

It turned out to be a lovely fall day.

It was here, too.  It's starting to get colder, but it was lovely.

As long as I don't need to wear more than a t-shirt, vest, and my soft jacket I am ok with the cooler temps.  Once I need long sleeved clothing my elbow is not happy.

On the phone with PayPal trying to figure out what exactly has been going on with my account.  This goes back to Sunday, when I inadvertently used that card at Vitello's when there wasn't enough PayPal funds to cover it - so it zeroed my account and took the balance from my bank account, which is the back-up funding source.  So far so good.  So my account stayed at zero for a day or so as no payments came in, and two other charges came in and also used the bank account as the back-up source.  Meantime, some orders came in for Carol Christmas and other stuff and if you add those up it should come out to a certain figure.  But that figure is nowhere in site, but it's also saying that it just completed one of the charges that I know used the back-up bank account source - so I'm making sure I haven't been charged twice for this stuff as it's at least two hundred below what it should be.

What the hell is wrong with kids today?  15 year old argued with his mother over a bad grade so he strangled her to death then was happy while confessing.  AAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

“Are you going to want any drizzles on your pizza?”

How do you answer that kind of a question?

Like the kid who killed his grandmother then himself. She had told him to clean his room.

In the meantime, I'm going home.  I have some laundry and some TV watching to do, so I shall.

Be back later.

Went to see Petula Clark at the Birchmere in Alexandria.   The only time I had seen her in concert was at the ALS Tribute a few years ago (BK directed it).  She sang two or three songs that night.

I looked up her age--she'll be 86 next week!  She did a 90 minute set with no break, sang all her hits and then some.  Well, the only one I wished she had sung was " Kiss Me Goodbye."   I think I liked "This is My Song" the best.

I loved Petula Clark in concert. It’s been about 25 years now. She sang something from Mr Chips. But nothing from Finian. Met her afterwards. She was looking to party. Her audience was largely older than she was.

“America used to be about the pursuit of happiness. Now it's about the pursuit of money, fame and Twitter followers.”

Brilliant insight from Eric Idle. I’m listening to his “sortabiography.”

I’ve gotten through the Python years, Baron Munchhausen and his attempt to get Mel Brooks to do a Broadway version of The Producers with Brooks as Bialystok and Idle as Bloom.

Spamelot is next.

Watching a documentary (of sorts) on Dr. Seuss. In it, it says that he met his wife during a class on Shakespeare's use of punctuation in King Lear.

Wow. That class sounds like a gutbuster, even to this grammar geek.
