I usually take morning flights but the airfare was quite a bit less for the 5:30 pm flight. Of course I had to pay more for the rental car since I returned it at a later hour than when I picked it up.

Listening to a cracking good mystery, Ngaio Marsh's Enter a Murderer. An actor is murdered for real on stage. Everyone on stage and off had good reason to do him in. Inspector Roderick Alleyn is on the case, so all should be OK soon enough.

Today, I went to my sister's to help her take boxes for an unassebled chicken coop out of the truck she borrowed from her ex-mother-in-law, and put them in her garage. Then, I put this in my car and took it home with me:

The fire is, of course, just some kind of projection behind some fake logs. The heat is just a little box that is attached underneath. You can run the "flames" without any heat, if you want.

I checked and the Comcast TV schedule shows The Orville is supposed to be on at 6:00 and 8:00 pm. I guess 8:00 is when it's really going to be broadcast.
