The first half of our royalties were paid already although we haven't seen them yet because they go to Doug's agent in NY, and they have to pay the second half within fifteen days of closing.  But that's not how it usually works.  When and if we license the show, as with the Brain you then get checks twice a year.  Since all the major licensing houses were sold to Concord hopefully things will continue to run smoothly in that regard.

Bruce if they did your show in Tacoma would you go see it?

That would be cool!  BK and David Wechter came to Olympia to see The Brain From Planet X. :)

Of course, I was in The Brain, so that might've been a factor. ::)

Thanks to all for the chair comments....yes....it will be there.

And today of course I got my new and improved Social Security Benefit.....it amounts to about the same as DR DRUXY's royalty....sort of.....

Good luck on finding the perfect chair Jack.  I have also learned through experience to grab that perfect item at the goodwill immediately or it will be gone

Yup.  I learned that the hard way, too (especially for props purchasing purposes).

Interesting about royalties.....

Yes MR BK & former DR POGUE came to see BRAINX when it was performed in Indiana....it was most excellent to meet them both, and the cast & director & Staff were a lot of fun.  I think we all got t-shirts....and just being in their company raised my stock considerably at the time....

Yes Concord......that's kind of scary.....  I noticed when we did CURTAINS - we didn't have to return a lot of the material....scripts, vocal parts, etc.....all on thin paper and plastic bound.....strange after all of those years of erasing and sending back etc.....

The vocal parts for A Christmas Story had to be returned.  Several people didn't actually realize that and wrote in them IN PEN AND HIGHLIGHTER!! :o

I had a lovely visit with Charlotte, who just left.  Annabelle was a friendly hostess, and Thatch hid under the bed.

Richard and I have both had naps, but we’re not setting the world on fire.  The most ambitious thing I’ve done today was unloading the dishwasher.

Today’s procedure was almost identical to last week’s, except he was more groggy afterwards and had to be given some IV medication to counteract the anesthesia.

Interesting!  When I had it done, one surgery I was much deeper asleep than the other.  One surgery I remember nothing until it was over; and the other surgery I remember the entire procedure (but still didn't care).

Both of these are interesting. I've always heard from other people I know that they were basically aware of everything, but didn't care. I don't recall anyone saying (or thinking) that they were actually "out" for the procedure. I'll bet they were, though, if only momentarily here and there.

Did a huge amount of futzing and finessing and wrote one new page.  Then I picked up some packages, then came right back home and wrote two more pages.  I'm still about two or three away from finishing this chapter.

My uncle had some photos of his late doggy on an old tracphone - probably over 15 years old.....

My sister and I attempted to get the photos for him.  I fortunately had a USB cable that fit into the charging outlet.....but my computer would NOT read the phone.

I downloaded the software from LG and a driver....but nothing would work.  Of course the phone is no longer active - since June of 2017....so that may have something to do with it.  Even emailing or messaging ONE photo from the charged phone brings up the message "Not enough memory" to do it.

So we took photos of each of the photos and are working on improving them the best we can.....

The End.
