Watching a noirish melodrama called Moonrise. It's a Criterion release, but it's only OK. It would be better if the main actor, Dane Cook, gave a better performance. Still, there's a lot of interesting things here, including Harry Morgan as a a mentally limited deaf-mute.

Today the temperature was up in the 70s, but it still felt like a soup day. So, I made an easy chicken tomatillo soup. It packs a little heat, but it's really good.

I think I've done about four new pages so far. I did go to In N Out and got two cheeseburgers - cheap and they were very good, and I'm still praying for the sour to turn to sweet - hasn't happened so far.

I think I finally unclogged Annabelle's nose and she actually are some Temptations seafood treats. She wouldn't eat earlier. If she's still having issues tomorrow, we're going back to the vet. Thatch goes back this week for his booster shot as well.

Yes, let's hear the Globes results as they happen, although they're usually predictable and predicated on who had the best goody bags and swag - that's all it's ever about. You know that when you realize that several movies and performances that were nominated could not have been seen by them at the time of the nominations. And yet, people buy into it, the actors buy into it, and there you are.
