Thanks DR JANE I just became aware of the show and I guess I don't remember DR JEANNE mentioning it.

Yes, I've been quite addicted to it since I first discovered it. It's very good. You were quite right in guessing that I'd like it.

Finally back from the endless rehearsal, but glad I was there because I could see where the problems were going to be even thought we couldn't go quite in show order due to one of our musician's having to leave after three hours and one singer not being there.  Stopped and got In N Out and now I'm home.

A Question for BK:  Isn't today supposed to be Ask BK Day?

;)

You're right it is.  I was too tired when I wrote the notes and I'm even more tired now.  So, tomorrow will be Ask BK Day

Thanks for the wrlcome home TCB.  I am glad you have a new battery for your upcoming trip.  Will you take the old one as a spare?

No, they don't let you keep the old batteries, because they have to be properly disposed of.  Besides. they are too heavy for me to put in my luggage.

I wondered about the weight.  That is good they dispose of the batteries.

I hiked my mountain again today. Then I stopped at my son and DIL's home to pick up something. I got to see the baby. He gave me a big smile.

Awww.

My DH is putting up the third camera on our house -- this one points to the patio door in the backyard.

Good.  I hope you don't need to film anyone that doesn't belong.

Not surprising since you weren't watching it ;)  You also don't remember that I was watching it as well, which is why I remember DR Jeanne watched it.

Well, I need to be leaving work now.  I and several co-workers are going up to Seattle for the ALA (American Library Association) Midwinter Conference.  We're only going to the exhibition hall with all the publishers and sellers (FREE STUFF!!).

But since it's a work day, we need to make sure that we don't actually work more than 32 hours this week (normally 40, but 32 because of MLK Day), so I need to take time off during the regular week, which means I'm leaving now.

Be back later.

Started watching Bel Canto. I hope Julianne Moore doesn't sing too much. The dubbing is sloppy.

The rest of the film is okay, though starting slow.

I'm listening to a rollicking good true-life medical thriller called Bad Blood, which is about a puffed up business that promised to deliver blood testing equipment but never developed anything that worked. Despite that, billions went into the company. Fascinating story.

This week at work has been crazy. I've been called in on a government shutdown project, and no one seems to know how to make it all come together. I hope everyone is appreciating my volumes of questions.

I like FREE STUFF! Marie Duplecks, or whatever her name is, probably would not.

Had a lovely dinner tonight during Restaurant Weeks of a green salad with tangerines, corbino fish over dirty rice and buttermilk panna cotta.

The big meal comes Friday afternoon. I get to judge a barbecue contest. Though I'm judging rib-eyes and desserts.
