I have finished Cleo from 5 to 7. Now watching a documentary from 2003 in which Varda gets her two leads back together and they talk about the making of the film.

I think I'm going to enjoy all of these extras. One features Varda and Madonna talking, two are shorts that Varda directed early in her career.

Back from one of the greatest Kritzerlands ever, at least for me it was. There'd been so many issues at the stumble-through, and I'd given so many notes, but everyone showed up and just hit it way out of the park. I'll say more in the notes, but when I arrived and saw they'd completely reconfigured the room so weirdly that I kind of went berserk. Instead of our long tables, the first two rows were now side by side tables, twelve to a row, like theater seating. So they had to figure out how to add a two-top to the front row since I always have fourteen - Nick, our wonderful sound guy, figured it out quickly. I hate surprises and I simply don't get why they couldn't have let me know in advance so I could get used to it. So, in my opening remarks I went right there and addressed it and it was hilarious - I said I felt I was being judged like American Idol and said I'd try to get used to being at The Last Supper, which is what it looked like. The laughs were really big, and then my first real joke of the evening killed - I mean a HUGE laugh that kept building and then I made it a runner throughout the show. I live for that stuff. So, I personally had the most fun I have ever had at one of our shows. I was, as I put it at some point, "off the rails." More in a bit.
