Last night we had a lot of fun hearing my brother's band 4Score play.....I had never been in an Elks Club.....and at 11 p.m. they had a clock chime/toast to absent members and talked about the Elk Herd which was most interesting.

I also saw the son of a friend of mine.....Matt.....I didn't know that he was a Past Grand Exalted Elk Leader....

Today is my baby sister Molly's 48th birthday. She was born with a club foot and other problems.....she didn't get to come home for abut 8 days....and couldn't have many visitors, so we didn't see her for more than a week....well...Mom and Dad did.

Less than a month after she was born, she started wearing a cast...which was replaced every two weeks. When she was less than two years old, she had surgery.

It corrected the problem....and although she still has some difficulty...it's not very noticeable and she can do anything she wants....walking running dancing wise.

At 2:20 am, according to our newspaper, on the 15th the ship sank and my great great uncle, by marriage, went down with the ship.

I thought the first season of Poirot was weak with only two really good episodes, but the first three episodes of Season 2, "Peril at End House" was a 2-parter, are really fun. I really like the cast; David Suchet is brilliant, but Hugh Fraser, Pauline Moran, and Philip Jackson have such wonderful moments.
