...And I love this tune.. which had an English title/release as "Watch What Happens" I believe.   At least Rare Silk recorded it that way.

DR Cillaliz - Did you accomplish all your culinary missions in New Orleans?

And just how cute was that pilot?  ;)

Yes, I ate and ate and ate.....we went to NOLA, one of Emeril's restaurants, which is always fun. I made it to Cafe DuMonde and many other great places.  It was a couple weeks ago, so I'd have to think about it to remember what I ate where. (Maybe the good wine has something to do with my somewhat haze memory) Heard great blues, including Pat "Mother Blues" Cohen. She was great fun.

I spent last Friday - Tuesday packing up and sorting at my lake house. I'm going back next weekend to finish up....who knew I had so much stuff????

The pilot was very cute, distractingly so..... we literally talked for 2 1/2 hours straight and I'm one of those people who usually puts my nose in a book and doesn't pay much attention to the person sitting next to me...the nice part was I had switched seats with an older gentleman so he could sit next to his wife....after I sat down, I was rewarded with the cute pilot sitting next to me...sometimes it pays to be nice ;D

Will they race him off like Hiliary?

I haven't timed them.  But Hilary, after a very good beginning,  droned on and on and on and on...so when the music came up, I was ready for SOMEone...ANYone...to bring out the hook. And when she's finally done and turns to walk away, she races back to the microphone and starts shouting out stuff over the music.

Foxx held my attention from the gitgo...and his wonderfully evocative story about his grandmother teaching him to "act" and disciplining him was a lesson ALL of the USA should take to heart, and put into practice.

Morgan Freeman was, also, a true class act.

Does anything happen at 200 posts, or do I have to go longer to become a senior member?

That's it for this wuss. But remember, movies tell us where we've been, where we are, and where we are going. Movies are the rocketships of our dreams, the haunted caverns of our nightmares and the funny things that make us laugh a lot. Movies feed and clothe us. They incite us into fits of movie-loving madness. Long live movies and the decadent award shows that celebrate their sweet excess!!!

That last post was written for me by Oscars writers, by the way. I can't take full credit.

But what about the post Oscar parties?  What channel should we be watching?  I'm going to take a nice long Jacuzzi now, so someone figure it out and let me know, won't you?

Yes, we've got two and a half hours, so hopefully we'll cross the nine hundred barrier - may as well go for the gold, baby.

Well, if anyone is seeing them, we need a report.

Do you realize we've had almost five days of posts in one single day?

That just TICKLES me pink or at least mauve.

Yes, I had to come back to get my 300th. Milestones, baby!

We've had more milestones tonight than Lewis Milestone.

But what about the post Oscar parties?  What channel should we be watching?  I'm going to take a nice long Jacuzzi now, so someone figure it out and let me know, won't you?

I've turned off my TV, loaded the washing machine (with another load still to go), emptied the catbox, emptied the bagless vacuum cleaner (and took the filter to my sister's to vacuum the hepa filter :P), loaded the dishwasher (for the second load today...and it'll have to wait until the second load from the washing machine is done) AND I still have to do my bills.  I don't have time to watch other people party.

Why just aim for 900??  There is still time to hit 1000 posts today...anything's possible. ;D
