Well, you've read the notes, the notes were loony, and now it is time for you to post until the loony cows come home.

Sorry I didn't show back up last night after I left work.  I got home and wanted to work on making another Blu-ray!  I'd recorded the hi-def TCM broadcast of Sweeney Todd with George Hearn and Angela Lansbury several years ago, and wanted that to be one of the first Blu-rays that I make because it's never been released on Blu-ray...and it's Sondheim. ;) Of course, this isn't remastered or anything like that, and it has the TCM bug in the lower right corner, but it'll be darned good quality (and they didn't bleep out the bad words).

I recorded that from my DVR onto my Windows XP computer, transferred it to my Windows 10 computer, and started to create chapters.  But since I want them to be at the specific song points, I have to find the specific point and mark each chapter, and that takes a VERY long time.  While I was doing that, I started to record the movie of Thoroughly Modern Millie onto my Windows XP computer.  That also has not been released on Blu-ray.  I'll need to finish the chapter-creating for Sweeney before I can start chaptering Millie.  We'll see how long it all actually takes.  For Ring of Fire previously, I just created chapters every four minutes, but these have songs, so those will be the chapter breaks.

Today, I'm working concessions for a local ballet company's production of a comic ballet version of Don Quixote.  I want to see it because I've been in the musical version twice, and Harlequin Productions will be doing the musical in a couple of months, so it'll be fun to see two completely different versions so close together. :)

After that, my sister is going to go with me to a local nursery (for flowers and trees) so that I can find something to get my mom for Mother's Day.  She loves gardening stuff.

After that, I'm going to see Tacoma Little Theater's production of the play, Laura, based on the book and movie of the same name.  The lead in Bunbury for which I ran the sound a few months ago, is playing the lead in this, so I'd like to say hi to him.  He's such a nice guy (and he's gorgeous).  But really, he is genuinely a very sweet person.

Today I must needs prepare to substitute at a church service tomorrow. My friend the music director is off to a son’s graduation this weekend.

And I have to decide whether to go see the closing performance of The Graduate at one of our local theaters this evening. I’ve never seen the stage version, and I know some of the people in this one. Well, we shall see.

Then tomorrow afternoon or next weekend I’ll see a production of The Secret Garden staged at one of the more beautiful old libraries (Pequot Library) in the region. First act indoors, second act outdoors, I think. I know a few of the folks involved, including the music director who will be playing on a wonderful old Steinway.

BK, I believe that Bruce Pomahac was Claibe Richardson's orchestrator for the last flurry of Industrials.   I believe the documentary is being released on DVBD and Blu-Ray at some point.

This afternoon I am escorting Rob Berman's mother Debby to the matinee of High Button Shoes. I look forward to seeing her as much as I do to seeing the show.  I've deliberately avoided reading anything about the show on the chat boards.
