I imagine that the possum that DR VIXMOM and the VIXDAD rescued many years ago has had about 4000 descendants by now.

The gorilla glue was not a success.

I came in to find Birdy Barnum hanging onto his basketball goal and it was hanging upside, as was he.  I took it back out and tossed it.

I shall look for a new one tomorrow.  They are available online if no one has one.....locally.

What? They didn't have it neutered before releasing it?

They are good for the environment and getting rid of those horrid tics.

"More Possum Benefits. Opossums, sometimes referred to just as possums, are a benefit to ecosystems and a healthy environment beyond eradicating ticks. They will catch and eat cockroaches, rats and mice – in addition to consuming dead animals of all types (also known as carrion)."

Now I'm a bit confused. Birdy Barnum has sports equipment? Does he watch sports on TV and try to emulate the activity, the plays? Or do you, Jack, demonstrate for him?

This is good to know. But the ones that approach humans can be rabid.

LOL DR JEANNE......though it is not instinctive.....he figured out that the ball on the chain went into the basket about a week after I got him.....it entertains him to do so....get his rebound, and put it in again.  He tried from all sides and up and down to make it and has taught himself some pretty fancy trick shots.

It helps that there is a mirror for a backboard.....

Tonight, Annabelle, Thatch and I watched Dumb Witness, the last of Poirot Season 6, in which a fox terrier named Bob has a prime role.  Since they did not eat their dinner, I opened a can of Fancy Feast chicken hearts and liver, put it into one of their bowls and set it on a napkin on my bed.  Little Thatch gobbled it like a starving man and then Annabelle decided she would have some, too.  I feel much better that they've eaten.

Well, I must be off.  I'm going to see a documentary called What We Left Behind: Looking Back at Deep Space Nine.  It was funded through Indiegogo and I was a contributor!  My name will be in the end credits...among thousands of others, I'm sure!  I hope it'll be good.

Be back later.

I hate Mac Mail right now.  HATE IT.  Not synching, not working properly, so annoying.

We have had a disaster at our house today.....I am surprised it was not reported on CNN.

Birdy Barnum's basketball goal/mirror was crooked.  I straightened it up and turn the screw to tighten it......AND IT BROKE OFF!

It has been glued on the back and I am waiting for it to set completely before putting it back in the cage.

BUT I am getting the silent treatment and the fish eye because his sports equipment is missing.....at least unless I am getting a strong and loud tongue lashing.....it's fairly evenly balanced between the three....

Poor birdy.

Continued interview vibes for John G.

What does the new job entail?

Much the same work that I'm doing now, but instead of doing it for one business, it would be for businesses around the world.

Back to The Favourite. Weird, wonderful movie. It's like a Game of Thrones comedy with a dyspeptic queen.

Back from a perfectly amateur thing at the Group Rep - not part of the Group Rep, mind you, but a new member decided that some Fringe show that opens on June 7, should do their evening for everyone.  They shouldn't have.  They should never do it.  I don't know if they'll have a pianist for the show, but here they were working with tracks - not one of the three people could sing with the track in terms of actually singing on pitch and not getting ahead or behind it.  Of the three, the one guy had the only voice you'd say was a voice, but he was flat the entire time and a schmactor of the highest order, but the ladies were, too.  I mean, when you're singing a Sondheim song you don't sing notes that are a third under the written notes and you stay on the damn beat.  This is, I suppose a glorified cabaret act, but it purports to tell a story of three people.  What that story is I have no idea.  This is the living proof that this stupid Fringe festival which everyone thinks is such a big deal to be part of is, in fact, anybody's game.  Anyone can be in it doing anything - just pay the fee.  Horrible.  I'm sorry to have gone on about it, but when I see merde like this it just makes me angry.  Good for them for doing something, but not good for doing it in public for paying people.

I have to say that other than the DGA visit, this day has been really irritating, what with the Mac Mail ongoing issue, really stupid drivers to deal with.  Blechhh.

I am sure we have had close calls while driving and been annoyed cuz the person was on the phone.  Hopefully we will never be in an accident because of it.
