I was so wound up after the show that I got to bed late and then slept very poorly.  I woluld have slept in longer this morning but some Asian delivery man misread an address and woke me at 8:00 with a fopod delivery.  I was not amused.

I remember part of a dream: I was in an institutional building and I must have been performing in something because there was a disagreement over what I was to sing.  I went to the men's room and Thatch was drinking out of a toilet, and I ran him.  I then wqent back to be sure he wasn't doing it afain and there he was!  I ran him out, abnd I realized it wasn't Thatch: the coat was all wrong.

I watched the 2 hour DEADWOOD movie last night.

It was very well done, but the problem was that, since it's been over 10 years since the original series was cancelled, it was hard remembering who was who and who did what.

Anybody else watch it?

As soon as I clean the litter and patrol with Annabelle, I've got to tidy the place.  I'll leave for the 2:00 Y performance around 12:45.

No, but I will. I already know I need to do a complete review and rewatching of the series, so it'll be a while before I get to the movie. Looking forward to all of it, though.

I fought against DD for years.....I loved getting the check and traveling to the bank and watching things happen.

However when I signed up for SS, it was required that I use DD, so I switched my pension as well.....and enjoy watching it come into my account ONLINE on the morning of the day it is due.

I thought it would be a bother to write a check to cash when I wanted cash.....but I just keep a certain amount here....and when I get low....every six or eight weeks....I go to the bank.....

Today is the PCPH Open House at 2 p.m. followed by the June meeting.

One person who was NOT at the Program Committee meeting does NOT like our selection for reasons discussed at length at the meeting....and dismissed.  This person is NOT delusional but still feels that Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Les Miz. are all better choices than Once Upon A Mattress and Anything Goes....

And You Can't Take It With You is a better choice than The Diviners and/or State of the Union.....

I get my pension, Social Security, and City Center payments - when I do any work for them - in direct deposit, but most of my other payments are from individuals and arrive as checks.  I hope the Y check arrives soon.

We've made our patrol, and Annabelle has retired to her trash bag in the kitchen.  After I cleaned the litter, I vacuumed Stella's cage thoroughly.  I'm still undecided when I will take it down.  She's worse than Annabelle for running out the door whenever I open it, and it's nice to have a place to keep her when I'm cleaning the apartment or stepping out.

How are you feeling today, jan?

I was about to ask. I slightly pulled some back muscles sneezing over and over again, nothing compared to your needing a pain pill for your back.

You need more clients who pay in cash. In advance.
