I think Anthony Hopkins is a fine actor, but since THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, I find it difficult to distinguish one performance from another.

I just watched the trailer of SOLACE.

Wasn't sure if I'd seen the picture or not.

If I had, I still don't recall it.

Couldn't even get through the trailer.

Boring.

I think you’re right, with the exception of Titus. Boring scripts, perfunctory performances.

The trip down was so easy with bus connections and my eyes got a good review as well.  However, it took me well over 90 minutes to get home, with uptown traffic and endless waits for the buses.  Thatch and Stella were happy to see me.

Today's eleven o'clock has been pushed to tomorrow at four-thirty, which is much better for me.

Is it just me, or is IBDB.com not working very well at the moment? I'm afraid I don't use it all that often, so I don't know if this is par for the course.

The search function isn't working for anything using Chrome, and on Firefox I can search for a couple of things but not others, and many of their own internal links aren't working. No big deal, just wondered.

The ibdb redesign sucks and everyone's been having issues with it.

Thanks for the vibes Jrand.  Without the wind blowing today, especialy light sandy dirt, I didn't sneeze once today.  I still took half a Benadryl tonight.

Aren't you sweet.  The guy is almost a year younger than I am.  I met him on the same day I met Keith.   He was half a year behind us in school.  His wife is 2 years younger.

DR Jan, last night I typed " 'night" and fell asleep before tapping on post.  Actually what I typed was close enough.  It was better than what I actually posted before falling asleep while typing ;D

It is 10:20 pm in Paris and the alarm is set for 5:30 am.  We want to leave for the airport between 6:00 & 6:15.  We could leave later but then traffic might make us late.

We had a very nice last day.  We took the train to the medieval town of Chartres to visit the 900 year old gothic cathedral--a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Extraordinarily well preserved and exquisite.  We then walked around the charming town and had lunch.

Back from chicken tenders and picking up the important envelope, and then banking.  Whew.

And I just gave to go-ahead for our biggest project ever - a five-CD set, which is going to be my love letter to Nick Redman.  This has actually been in the works for over a year, but there was no way to do it until I got our big dealer to commit to enough copies to cover most of the cost, which I did this morning.  If we sell 100 on our site then we will be in the black.  I think we came up with a very good price for it.  Some of the material has been out before, but four of the titles involved will have not only significant sound upgrades but two will have additional material.  And one title has never been out.

Monday afternoon greetings!  We had an early wake-up this morning because Richard had a 7:45 appointment for a nerve block.  We went to breakfast on the way home and crashed for recliner naps shortly after we got here.  In about an hour we’ll go to the public library for a history lecture.
