Thanks, Jane.  I did get a little sleep.  I took him to his home in Seattle and stayed there with him.  I'm now sitting in my car getting ready to go back down to Olympia.  He's still very sad (of course), but he won't need to go back to the hospital.  Today, he's going to go to church, then go to work.  He has a lot to deal with, but I think the worst of it is over. 

After I got home today after the Pride event, I was able to chat with David.  He did go to church and to work.  When he got home, his soon-to-be-ex-wife was there (unexpectedly), but they were able to talk a bit and I guess lay down some ground rules, so there was a little progress there.

So I just watched an episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers from a couple of weeks ago.  The musical guest was Regina Spektor, and she sang a song called Loveology.  WTH??  The lyrics make absolutely no sense, whatsoever! :o
