Super tired from all that was involved with our closing show yesterday, so this is "mostly" a ME day, just taking it easy.

I'm up, I'm up - six hours of sleep.  More garage stuff is gone, but I'm guessing there's still two trips left - endless and their truck is just not very big.  Once the next batch o' stuff goes, maybe tomorrow,  then everything will get easier.  But, disturbingly, I have not found the tapes I'm looking for and I'm pretty sure I've now been through all the boxes.

There are two things (of mainly personal interest — could be others, but these two have been on my mind over the past several months) that I have had to all but write off as lost. Which is inexplicable and just plain disturbing. But I believe I’ve looked, more than once, in every conceivable spot for them. It’s sad and frustrating.

I know!  I can't find my copy of Kurt Weill Revisited!  I KNOW I received it, but I can't find it anywhere in my cubicle here at work, and it's not in the only two boxes of CDs that I've recently taken home.  I just don't know where it could be. :P

Yet the raindrops hitting the window look lovely as they reflect the colored lights that swathe the building.

Back from a pastrami sandwich, putting gas in the motor car (sixty bucks did not quite fill it up - sick of this), and picking up a package.  Guess I'll go organize boxes in the garage.  Lots of shelves are now empty.

I hope JB enjoyed his vacation.

I have some friends who are taking a cruise down the Danube and posting many photos...it is very interesting.

I expect the locations are beautiful.

Finding the tapes vibes for MR BK.

Perhaps they are with DR CHAS SMITH's items and my files from the 50th High School Reunion from April, 2018, that have gone missing from my house.

Been in the garage most of this day - organizing, moving boxes of CDs off the floor and onto the empty shelves.  I'm still hopeful we can get 'em all up there.

If not, we'll take some of the ones I know I won't need to the other place.  But it's so nice to be able to walk around in there.

I've always loved UNCHAINED MELODY. I'm looking forward to the new CD.

Did anyone see the movie UNCHAINED? I recall having a conversation about it with the owner of Video Vault in Alexandria. The movie seems to have fallen into oblivion.

Monday evening greetings!  After 3 and a half very full days of ALA, Richard and I went to Capital Burger for lunch today.  Then we taxied to DAR headquarters and got all registered for Continental Congress, which begins tomorrow (gala opening night is Wednesday).  The walk from there to where we catch our Metro train is longer than I thought, but at least we learned that today and have come up with a coping plan.  We got “home” about 4, after picking up some sandwiches for supper.  We did laundry and chilled and even got to watch A STAR IS BORN on HBO.

Richard is crashing and it won’t be long for me...
