DR TCB thanks for answering my ordering question. A fb friend was describing her screwed up pick-up order, yet it was ok that she had to accept substitute cookies. Maybe she had checked the box substitutes were ok.

I went to the basement to do a few stretching exercises, and while I was there, I checked my laundry card. I have enough money on it to do the laundry, so I'll do that tomorrow morning.

I have never heard of a laundry card. It sounds easier than saving a supply of coins. Do you update it online or at a machine in the laundry room?

I haven’t either. I’m afraid to recall what the washers and dryers cost in the places I lived, because it’s now been 30 years since I lived in an apartment. I’m even more afraid to ask what these things cost NOW.

(I’m thinking it was a couple of quarters for the washer and one for the dryer? I do remember it once being a dime for a dryer cycle at commercial laundromats...)

Tonight, finally, is PIPPIN. A few of the songs are wicked with patch changes and page turns, and I will shortly be back at the keyboard for more practice at it. Pray for that baby.

Craig lives in a large complex of apartments. I am curious now if he has a laundry card & how much his loads cost. When he can finally move he hopes to find a place with room for a washer & dryer.

Saturday afternoon greetings! Started my morning pushing the BREW button on the Keurig before placing a cup in the proper place. Fortunately I caught the mistake before it made a total mess. And there isn't even a cat here to blame since the upstairs housemates moved out...

So here's my quick report to BK after watching THE CREATURE WASN'T NICE last night:

It's delightful. Music is great (with theremin, yes, for God’s sake), Max is great, the jokes work, and it flows. Perfect casting, of course. Nielsen and Macnee are incredible. I can’t imagine anyone not liking it.

Oddly enough, I found I’ll now have to take another look at the DVD cut to fully appreciate the crap treatment it got. I’ll probably just wait for your release, but what a comparison that will be. Thank you for the preview! Now if only Nick Redman were here to join you in that second commentary...

It really is like night and day. And like I said earlier, it feels like a real movie now, as opposed to a mish-mash of scenes thrown together. Very glad this is happening.
