I am supposed to be at my book discussion group discussing Madame Fourcade's Secret War: The Daring Young Woman Who Led France's Largest Spy Network Against Hitler by Lynne Olson. Since only 2 of has actually read the book the others wanted to postpone the discussion until next week. The other person who read the book won't be here & is not happy about it.

I will be here but will miss the following month and had been looking forward to that discussion.

I'm finally getting back to "Us." It's more gruesome than Greta (the title of my next book), but it's also a much better movie. I'm surprised at how good of a horror movie it is, and how good the humor in it is. It's not my kind of movie, but it's well worth watching it. Great premise, very creepily executed.

I should read the short version. I do swear occassionaly when I really need to. I did not say "Darn, I broke my shoulder"

As much as I loved Us, I needed to start something a little more upbeat to end the day on. So, I'm watching a documentary called Science Fair, which follows a number of people involved in a high school science fair competition. They're smart, they're self-confident, and the projects they made are fascinating.

King Kong was fun and I'm glad I saw it. The music did not make me want to rum out and buy the OBC cd but it was pleasant enough while it was being sung, and it was sung well

The dancing was very energetic if the choreography was somewhat repetitive.

The chorus members were very nice to look at.

Interesting and good use of projections for back ground, and they were especially effective in scenes where there was running, climbing and traveling by ship
