Now listening to Robert Schumann's first symphony. He died very young, too. So far, another not my cuppa but I've got all four symphonies. Of these old boys the only one I really respond to in a major way is that boy Brahms.

I cannot tell you how happy it's made me to see the original titles for this again. The letters for CREATURE start normally then begin to ooze.

So this just happened...I heard my cat SCREAMING out back, so I rushed downstairs to see if she was fighting with another cat or possum or something that got into my back yard, but when I got down there and turned on the light, I didn't see another animal at all. Neve came inside, so I shut and locked the back door. Of course, she wanted to go right back out, but it was more than late enough to keep her in, so I did.

Then, I went to my kitchen and turned on that light and saw TWO HUGE SPIDERS on either side of my garbage can!

I kind of froze, and neither spider moved, so quickly was able to find a couple of Glad plastic storage containers that my sister had loaned me (shhhh...don't tell her!) and I was able to cover each of them with the storage containers! Whew!

Once the spiders were secured, I ran upstairs and got my cell phone to take a couple of pictures (because they were HUGE!). But don't worry. I won't post them.

I then found some card stock-type card and slid that under the first container, carefully trying not to hurt the spider. I then took it outside and put it in the garden of one of my neighbors. Then, I got the other spider out and put that in the garden of my other neighbor.

Today, I'm going to my parents' house to help my mom with some stuff. She had me buy them a new front door knob and deadbolt lock, so I'll install that. My mom also first wants to repaint the part of the door that's under the lock. They bought this house in 1976, and this is the first time that they've changed the lock. It's weird to think my key to their house is almost 43 years old.

I actually had a 1pm appointment at this place around the corner, but when I was trying to choose nail colors they didn't have the first 5 I chose and the owner kept trying to upsell me on services and the woman who he was assigning me to spoke no English whatsoever (An issue when I need to communicate what I want done) and since I speak no Vietnamese , I left.

I stopped into another nail place ( there are actually 7 or 8 nail places in my town that's only about 3 square miles) and there I was able to be taken immediately , the technician spoke perfect English and they had a color I liked.
