Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

This play is going to be a real challenge for me in a couple of ways.

First, the scene I'm in is only about five minutes (most if not all of the scenes are, too), and there are only two ot three people in each scene.

I've never done a longish scene with only two people.

And I've never had to do something like this where the same scene is performed over and over and over again.

I counted my lines, and I only have about 40 or so lines.

I've played roles with more (and certainly longer individual) lines, so I'm not worried about that.

But this was also (if I remember correctly) only the second time that I was asked to play a role without an audition.

The first time was when I was asked to play Dolly Dimples the fat lady in Side Show when the original actress 9I think they originally hired an actress) dropped out the day before they started rehearsals.

I've done tech for shows that he's written, but I've never acted in any of his plays, so this'll be fun.

I know most of the other cast members, but my scene is only with one person, so rehearsals will be different, too.
