Medical vibes and wishes to TCB.

But the top of the nose issue - can't you have your barber cut those hairs?  I think shaving would make them grow back faster than if they're cut - but of course, cutting near the eyes is best done by someone who can be careful.  (Actually, so should shaving, I suppose.)

TOD:
My favorite elective by far was choir. I'm a terrible singer, but I absolutely loved to sing in the choir in high school and college. I'm like that line at the end of "Amadeus": God played a cruel trick when he created someone with such a profound love of music, but with no talent.  :)

I took choir from middle school all through five years of college.  I don't have a great voice, but I definitely can sing, and in harmony...although it's been quite a while since I've needed to do that in a choir.  Singing harmony in a show hasn't been as difficult, at all.

Otherwise, some of the other Topic of the Day electives that I took were three years of typing, wood shop (in middle school and high school...I actually made a wooden Rubik's cube!), and I took Drama I in the second semester of my senior year in high school.

There's also plucking.  I used to have a bit of a unibrow, but I started plucking the hairs in between and I no longer have a unibrow.  Those hairs just don't grow back anymore! ;)

Before DR George mentioned photos at Costco Keith had placed an order online for photos.  We conveniently picked it up today at the Walgreens next door to our gym.

I'm up, I'm up - nine hours of needed sleep.  A couple more nights of that and I'll be okay, I think.

Was up at noon o'clock, had a ton of e-mails to write, began the first set of liner notes, ascertained that there were no packages and, not happy, no important envelope, which they assured me was going out last Friday - just up north by San Francisco, so shouldn't take but a day.

Then I went to In N Out and got a double double - first one I've had - it was good.  Less calories than having two singles, which is what I usually get.

With "woke" idiots trying to get rid of the Lillian Gish theater and the John Wayne tribute at USC, which I find reprehensible, it's about time someone wrote a levelheaded article about Columbus Day.  https://nypost.com/2019/10/13/stop-scapegoating-christopher-columbus/?utm_source=facebook_sitebuttons&utm_medium=site+buttons&utm_campaign=site+buttons&fbclid=IwAR1Yzl0JHh2xEaFQW5JmeQgW_F7p_GR-eOgIoIMn8Hnxe_Pqm01AdfIOB7s

My brother-in-law went to Costco the other day, and one thing on his list was for some Imodium, but he couldn’t find it on the shelf.  Finally, he asked about it, and was told that it was kept behind the counter in the pharmacy.  He asked the pharmacy for two bottles, but they would only sell him one bottle because it is a controlled substance.. WTF?

I did know that it was behind the counter, but did not know why. That doesn't even make sense that he could not buy two bottles. I mean unless they are keeping track he could just go back and buy another the next day.

Our Costco has a big photo department. I'm guessing that most do. It's very convenient to print photos there.

I am home from therapy, which was wonderful.  I'll go back on Friday.

Excellent.  Was it better after your cortisone shot?

No.

This was very interesting.  My problem with Columbus Day is that he wasn't the first to discover America ;)

I shall try to remember & check if it is sold on the open shelves here.  I was shocked when my insurance wouldn't cover Lomotil as it is an opiate.  Now I find out that Imodium is also an opiate, yet one needs a script & the other doesn't.

Well, it's time for me to leave work and head home.  I have some TV watching to do, and maybe one load of laundry.  We'll see if I actually do that. ;)

Be back later.

Drama and gym.  Though gym was a requirement I liked all the options.  In high school I took archery and dance.
