The library has five copies of the Scotty Bowers documentary, BK, mentioned in his notes, and all copies are currently checked out with a hold (now 2) on the first to be returned. Dying can be good publicity, I guess.

I received a call from the doctor's office about noon today canceling tomorrow's surgery. Apparently one of the staff is out and they can't do it without him. Sigh. It can't be helped, I know. I scheduled it two months ago and have other medical appointments that are very difficult to reschedule. Ugh. They are not ready yet to reschedule.

I'm sorry they canceled on you, but if a key player can't be there, then you should be glad they did that. I hope you can get the rest of your appointments straightened out without too much trouble.

I used to, too. I haven't done it in years. I'm thinking I'd like to either take the train up the west coast or across a section of Canada, though not when there's 2 feet of snow on the ground.

This last trip we took a lot of day trips on trains. Nice for us was our hotel was right near the train station and we had family or friends meeting us at the other end.
