I probably could have bought a cafeteria lunch, but, uh, no.

That might have been worse.

At physical therapy, I will ask Gurjeet to check my left leg because it's been driving mer crazy with the pain since Tuesday.  He's got my right hip in great shape at the moment, so I'm hoping he can repair wha5tever I've done to my left.

Thanks so much, Jane!

Keith is in the Comcast store trading out our modem.

I need to get a new remote.  One of mine is wonky.  It still works, but I have to press down hard on the buttons to get them to work.  My other one is fine, so I'll use that one as my main remote.

Thanks so much, Jane!

London turned out to be easy as we walked past key chains while walking around Covent Gardens, at least I think that is where we were.  It was the only place I noticed the entire time we were in London.

The second one was at a store in York & Keith said we must get you this.

My appointment with the doctor was at 9:10. He did not come to see me until 10:55. Then he had nothing to say because Aetna denied his asking for a CT scan (only one a year and i had that in April). I’m glad I could listen to some of a book on my phone. Otherwise, morning wasted.

I would be rather angry & highly annoyed.  Did he apologize at all?

Yes. But since the CT scan was canceled, his staff should have canceled this session. Big system error.

It’s really cold and windy here. And I am ushering an outdoor event tonight.

Friday afternoon greetings!  I had a brief, but informative, meeting with my predecessor in the big job I now have for DAR.  Then I stopped at Emilie's to pick up some items she's donating to the AAUW Holiday Bazaar and added them to the carload I already have.  Tomorrow is delivery day and, of course, rain is predicted.

It's been a very lazy day.  I got back from therapy, lay down, and watched the cats frolic.  Then Stella and Thatch joined me on the bed to watch our soaps.

DR JohnG, I like McDonalds fries too, and about once every six month I get a craving for a quarter pounder with cheese.  When I was working at Toyland, I loved having an egg & sausage Mcmuffin for breakfast since there was a McDonalds around the corner.  I once ordered the egg & sausage with biscuit and it was disgusting.

When I moved into this apartment in 1980, there were a Burger King and a McDonalds on the corner of 82nd and Broadway.  My bank is now where the Burger King was, and the McDonalds is long gone as well.

DR Elmore, Richard received quite a shock today when he went to pick up his dry cleaning and found a notice on the door that Gough-Lamb is going out of business.  The owner had a stroke and, apparently, is not expected to survive.

Absolutely.  I hope you didn't have to pay anything for the visit.

Welcome to Comcast DR JANE!  Expect surprises.

We had Comcast before.  Keith can't get it to work with the tv and has scheduled an appointment with them for tomorrow.

We had only dropped Comcast for the tv.  We still had our phone and internet with them.  I like that they send an email for voicemail.

Yes, it is, DR Jane.  It was one of the oldest continuing businesses in Middletown and this is, truly, the end of an era.

My family used them for the dry cleaning, but I don't think I ever knew anyone who worked there, much less owned it.

Back to reading THE WHISPER MAN.  I am tempted to read the ending to find out what happens.  I only do that with books I am not sure are worth continuing to read.  This one is excellent.

Glad to hear that the second show was such a success, performance-wise. Bruce, you can use some of those numbers elsewhere, can't you?
