DR DRUXY last night was the first time I noticed that RIVER OF NO RETURN was produced by your friend Stanley Rubin.

That was several years before I knew him.  If he'd been my client then, I would have met Marilyn Monroe.    ;)

DR JOHN G mentioned Anne Baxter last night.....I've always found her passing to be very sad....  She was only 62....suffered a stroke hailing a cab on Madison Avenue - it wasn't until she was taken to the hospital that her identity was discovered......eight days on life support....then her family pulled the plug.

I also didn't know that she was originally cast as Katharine Hepburn's younger sister in the Broadway cast of The Philadelphia Story - but that Hepburn didn't think much of her acting and she was let go.....

I think the younger Virginia Weidler was a better casting decision.

Birdy Barnum is throwing the pistachio nuts and the walnuts out of his food bowl onto the floor.

The inner web keeps saying that parakeets WANT treats - but everything I've tried has been rejected....whether in a special treat cup OR mixed in with the regular food.

He also leaves the sunflower kernels on one side of the cup....

Thanks but NO thanks!

Try chopped/diced squash.

Lately, I’ve been partial to chicken enchiladas with a salsa verde on top. Fish with a tomato-olive-caper sauce is also wonderful. Heck, just give me the whole menu. Love a breakfast taco in a handmade tortilla.

It’s official. The promotion has been announced, even though the pay doesn’t kick in until next month.

Physical therapy was a lot of painful fun today.  The massage of the kinks in the muscles of my left thigh was particularly god-awful, but Jen is back from her maternity leave, and I adore her.  Today was also the 3rd birthday of Gurjeet's labradoodle Shelby, who hangs out at the office, so we all had cupcakes.

I feel your pain. Had to schedule a massage to deal with this crick in my neck that won’t let me turn my head to the left.

We had a nice lunch yesterday with my son and his lady.

In about 2 weeks, they're flying off to South Africa for about 10 days.  They're going to a wedding.

I know he's 50 years old and quite responsible, but as his father, I will still "worry" until he comes safely home.

 :-\ :-\

That’s what parents do.

I hope it helps.  I would love to return to a good massage once in awhile.  For years I had to go every week just to function.  If I knew someone here I might go for one.  It is a bit stressful going to someone knew when the potential for hurting me is there.

That’s good news. The fire is now larger than the city of Baltimore, according to one article I read. I wonder if I know any vintners involved.

Druxy, is the subject a secret for legal reasons, or are you rolling it out to build suspense?
