Watching The Circus, which I'm loving. Chaplin and the Girl are sweet together. Her relationship with her horrible father is all too typical and a bit disturbing.

Keith went to the Barber in the same shopping area. After his haircut he went to the gym & picked me up on the way home. I walked over to Fort Vancouver before my appointment & then met him at Fred Meyer after we were both done. It is very convenient getting our hair cuts there.

Oh, I had no idea. I don't normally like Jerusalem artichokes but the soup sounds good. I used to make my mac & cheese with DeBoles Jerusalem artichoke pasta but I haven't found it here. On the very rare occasion I make mac & cheese I buy whatever looks good now.

I've not read enough of the two library books I've started to know whether I like them yet or not. One is Inland by Tea Obreht. The other is Flights by Olga Tokarczul, who just won the Nobel Prize.

Thanks. I am looking at the Goodreads favorite book discussion books. I have read & liked a good many of the books on the list. Maybe I can find something there I haven't read. It is a long list.

The cut is about two (count ‘em) inches long and has about a thousand stitches. Well, maybe not quite that many. But Nathan says that’s a good thing. On the face, the more stitches the better, for nicest healing.

I learned this summer that facial stitches should be removed after 5 days.
